DevSecOps Engineer, CI/CD & Kubernetes
Overview
Build a DevSecOps platform from the ground up at Intellisoft Technologies in Plano, Texas. You own the CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration for greenfield projects. Work with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker on-premises and in the cloud. This role demands hands-on system design, not maintenance. You collaborate with security and development teams to embed security into every stage.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement a DevSecOps platform from scratch using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- 2Build CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment across Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- 3Containerize applications with Docker and manage image lifecycle in a private registry.
- 4Provision and manage on-premises and bare-metal infrastructure with Ansible and Puppet.
- 5Integrate security scanning tools like SonarQube and Trivy into the pipeline.
- 6Configure monitoring and logging for clusters using Prometheus and Grafana.
- 7Manage PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka clusters within the platform.
- 8Optimize infrastructure cost and performance while maintaining high availability.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in DevOps or DevSecOps roles, with at least 2 years in greenfield projects.
- 2Strong hands-on with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- 3Expertise in Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
- 4Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift for container orchestration.
- 5Proven experience with Docker and containerization of microservices.
- 6Solid understanding of on-premises and bare-metal infrastructure, including network and storage.
- 7Experience with PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka in production environments.
- 8Familiarity with security best practices and tools like Vault, Aqua, or Snyk.
