DevOps Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD
Overview
Own cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operation at scale across Azure and AWS. Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver automated, secure cloud services and APIs. Drive platform reliability, governance, and ongoing improvement of CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership on a Columbus onsite team.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and Terraform based infrastructure pipelines that accelerate software delivery.
- 2Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS with a focus on reliability and security.
- 3Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and serverless components, including monitoring and incident response.
- 4Develop and publish APIs and integration points to connect legacy systems with modern cloud solutions.
- 5Lead implementation of IaC using Terraform and YAML to ensure repeatable, auditable deployments.
- 6Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to align cloud solutions with strategic goals.
- 7Automate cloud operations and governance, including security controls, cost optimization, and observability.
- 8Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and ops staff.
- 9Drive continuous improvement in deployment speed, quality, and reliability within the platform team.
Requirements8
- 15+ years building cloud infrastructure and deployments in multi-cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
- 2Strong experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- 3Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains and Azure DevOps or equivalent
- 4Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- 5Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response in cloud environments
- 6Knowledge of security, networking, and governance in cloud platforms
- 7Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- 8Onsite availability in Columbus, Ohio
