DevOps Cloud Engineer, Azure & AWS Infrastructure
Overview
DevOps Cloud Engineer owns the design, implementation, and support of cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS. This role builds, maintains, and operationalizes secure, scalable services for commercial and government cloud environments. You will work with a team of engineers to deliver highly available systems, focusing on automation and reliability. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure and AWS, focusing on high availability and scalability.
- 2Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate deployments.
- 3Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- 4Operationalize security services, including Azure Security Center and AWS GuardDuty, to ensure compliance.
- 5Debug and resolve production issues across cloud services, optimizing performance and cost.
- 6Ship new features and improvements to existing cloud infrastructure within the first 90 days.
- 7Drive automation of repetitive tasks using PowerShell or Python scripts.
- 8Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles, with hands-on Azure and AWS experience.
- 23+ years building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- 3Strong proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- 4Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 5Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and tools like Azure Security Center and AWS IAM.
- 65+ years scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation.
- 7Proven ability to design and implement highly available and scalable cloud architectures.
- 8Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred.
