Overview
Own cloud infrastructure for a Columbus-based client, designing and implementing Azure and AWS solutions at enterprise scale. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure platform reliability. As part of a lean DevOps team, you will drive infrastructure-as-code initiatives and collaborate with developers to ship features faster. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
- 2Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate application deployments.
- 3Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker for production workloads.
- 4Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
- 5Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- 6Ensure security and compliance by managing IAM roles, policies, and encryption for cloud services.
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, optimizing performance and cost.
- 8Lead migration of on-premises applications to cloud, reducing downtime and improving scalability.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering with hands-on Azure and AWS experience.
- 23+ years writing infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- 32+ years managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
- 4Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
- 5Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- 6Knowledge of network security, IAM, and encryption for cloud environments.
- 7AWS Certified or Azure certified (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
