DevOps Cloud Engineer (Azure, AWS, Ohio)
Overview
You will own the operational design, maintenance, and operation of cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and Salesforce. You will lead technical discussions, guide teams on best practices, drive automation to eliminate manual work, and translate stakeholder requirements into secure cloud solutions. This contract role in Columbus, Ohio demands a hands-on engineer who can set the standard for cloud operations.
What You'll Do6
- 1Lead the operational design, maintenance, and operation of Azure, AWS, and Salesforce platforms.
- 2Drive automation efforts with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to minimize manual work.
- 3Guide technical teams on operational, technical, and procedural best practices.
- 4Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into actionable cloud solutions.
- 5Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.
- 6Ensure security and compliance across cloud environments, including identity and access management with IAM.
Requirements6
- 15+ years in cloud engineering with hands-on experience in Azure and AWS.
- 23+ years designing and operating Salesforce environments.
- 32+ years automating cloud infrastructure with Terraform or Ansible.
- 43+ years working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- 5Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
- 6AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator certification preferred.
