Development Ops Engineer, Cloud Automation & CI/CD
Overview
Own end-to-end deployment and cloud infrastructure in a hybrid environment at scale. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and services. Lead IaC, containerization, and security practices to deliver high-quality software. Collaborate with the App Services team to align with regulatory and operational standards. This role differentiates by combining Azure expertise with open-source tooling and a strong focus on DevSecOps.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure Pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment, ensuring rapid feedback loops.
- 2Design and implement Terraform and ARM templates for scalable infrastructure as code across public cloud environments.
- 3Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes including AKS for production workloads.
- 4Automate server and application configuration with Ansible and similar tools across heterogeneous environments.
- 5Monitor and log system health using Prometheus and Grafana with cloud-native services to ensure reliability.
- 6Integrate security into the development lifecycle with vulnerability scanning and security controls as part of DevSecOps practices.
- 7Troubleshoot complex issues spanning infrastructure, applications, and pipelines in a hybrid cloud setup.
- 8Collaborate with development teams and vendors, maintaining clear documentation and version control using Git.
- 9Provide on-call support for critical incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews and improvements.
- 10Stay current with cloud, open-source, and security trends to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2Minimum 3+ years as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment.
- 3Proven experience with Terraform and ARM templates for IaC.
- 4Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- 5Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or Azure Pipelines for CI/CD.
- 6Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- 7Experience with Azure cloud services and Linux/Windows administration.
- 8Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and cloud-native monitoring.
- 9Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- 10Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
