Detail Technician - Audi Palo Alto
Overview
You will own the complete detailing process for every vehicle at Audi Palo Alto, ensuring each car leaves with a flawless showroom shine. You will work directly with the service team to inspect, clean, and restore interiors and exteriors, handling the full range from vacuuming and washing to polishing and waxing. High school diploma required, and ASE certification is a plus. What You'll Do7
- 1Vacuum carpets, upholstery, and floor mats to remove all dirt, debris, and pet hair, and condition leather seats and vinyl surfaces with specialized products.
- 2Clean and polish windows, glass, and interior trim, then deodorize interiors to eliminate odors and dress tires for a fresh, professional finish.
- 3Wash exteriors using the two-bucket method and high-quality soap to avoid scratches, and degrease wheels and wheel wells to remove grime and brake dust.
- 4Apply clay bars and polishing compounds to remove minor scratches, then hand-wax and buff to achieve a deep, protective shine.
- 5Clean and dress exterior trim, including chrome, plastic, and rubber components, and perform headlight restoration to improve clarity and brightness.
- 6Offer additional services such as carpet shampooing, stain removal, and paint touch-up, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest quality standard.
- 7Maintain a clean and organized work area, storing all tools and supplies properly, and assist customers with questions or special requests as needed.
Requirements8
