Overview
We seek a Design Management Lead to own and drive infrastructure design and engineering at record speed. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to design and build globally scalable facilities. The ideal candidate excels in project management and collaboration across construction manufacturing and production environments.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and manage design process from concept through permit approval
- 2Drive design team through Construction administration process
- 3Define strategies for design engineering and permit deliverables
- 4Manage permitting documentation and coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
- 5Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable design deliverables
- 6Control scope technical planning and change management
- 7Identify resource needs and close capability gaps
- 8Coordinate project schedules with Project Controls
- 9Apply lean construction and BIM integration methods
- 10Build relationships with cross-functional teams
- 11Deliver IFB IFP IFC design packages for complex infrastructure projects
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Civil Mechanical Structural Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect preferred
- 3Minimum 4 years managing multi-disciplinary teams in A/E firms
- 4Expertise in CSA and MEP projects
- 5Proven success delivering complex infrastructure design packages
- 6Experience with manufacturing facility infrastructure development
- 7Familiarity with AHJs and construction management tools
- 8Track record of managing subcontractors and third-party consultants
- 9Ability to travel globally and work extended hours
- 10Strong organizational skills and detail orientation

$169 - $288k per year
