What You'll Do9

  • 1Design and develop metal components and assemblies for manufactured products
  • 2Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings

  • 4Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • 5Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure efficient fabrication
  • 6Apply design for manufacturability principles throughout the design process
  • 7Support prototype development and testing
  • 8Identify cost reduction opportunities and process improvements
  • 9Manage multiple projects while meeting quality standards and timelines

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in design engineering or related field
  • 25+ years of experience in wood or metal manufacturing
  • 3Familiarity with sheet metal aluminum machining die casting extrusion
  • 4Expertise in multi-material integration wood metal plastics glass
  • 5Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor AutoCAD Vault
  • 6Working knowledge of ERP software
  • 7Strong understanding of DFM principles
  • 8Experience with cabinetry hardware and joining techniques
  • 9Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
