What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and deliver preventative dental care for patients at the Union Gospel Mission location
  • 2Design patient education plans to improve oral health outcomes within multilingual communities
  • 3Maintain and document treatment and care of the mouth, teeth, and gums in Electronic Health Records
  • 4Support dentists in procedures and coordination of care for diverse patient populations
  • 5Ship high quality hygiene care by following established protocols and safety standards
  • 6Drive quality improvement by adhering to best practices and contributing to team discussions
  • 7Own licensure maintenance and adherence to state regulations and clinic policies
  • 8Scale outreach and education initiatives to increase access to care for underserved groups
  • 9Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow
  • 10Debug and resolve patient care or scheduling issues to minimize barriers to treatment

Requirements10

  • 1Active Washington State Dental Hygiene License
  • 2Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
  • 3One year of work experience preferred
  • 4Experience in multilingual/multicultural settings preferred
  • 5Bilingual in English and API language preferred
  • 6Commitment to a mission-driven team with respect and compassion
  • 7Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA at the Union Gospel Mission location
