Dental Hygienist

Lead comprehensive oral hygiene assessments and cleanings for patients in a thriving community setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality preventive care and educating individuals on maintaining optimal oral health within a collaborative practice environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform thorough oral hygiene assessments including reviewing medical history and dental charting
- 2Clean and remove plaque and calculus from teeth and along the gumline using dental instruments
- 3Take dental x-rays and assist the dentist in diagnostic procedures
- 4Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized preventive care instructions
- 5Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
- 6Perform periodontal charting to assess and monitor gum health
- 7Assist the dentist during dental procedures ensuring a sterile and safe environment
- 8Perform oral cancer screenings and identify any abnormalities
- 9Manage patient recall system and schedule follow-up care appointments
- 10Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and documentation
- 11Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Colorado Registered Dental Hygienist license
- 3Local anesthesia certification preferred
- 4CPR certification
- 5Excellent communication skills
- 6Comfortable using open dental software
