What You'll Do9
- 1Greet incoming patients and check out outgoing patients, managing a busy front desk with a positive demeanor.
- 2Answer all incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the patient calendar using dental software.
- 3Process credit card, check, and cash payments, and make deposits into the business bank account.
- 4Handle insurance payments and present Explanation of Benefits to patients, verifying dental insurance coverage.
- 5Provide patients with pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions, demonstrating thorough knowledge of dentistry.
- 6Focus on increasing revenue by presenting financial solutions and case presentations to boost case acceptance.
- 7Control costs to meet monthly budgets, maximizing patient flow and productivity.
- 8Ensure office compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and safety policies, partnering with dentists and associates.
- 9Support practice growth by implementing internal and external marketing strategies.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of dental office experience as a front desk receptionist.
- 2Patient coordination experience, managing schedules and patient interactions.
- 3Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- 4Friendly, positive demeanor with patients and team members.
- 5Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- 6Computer proficiency, with experience in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- 7Willingness to learn new computer programs.
