What You'll Do8
- 1Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for each visit.
- 2Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with Open Dental or Eaglesoft to maximize chair utilization.
- 3Handle phone calls, emails, and text messages, responding to patient inquiries within the hour.
- 4Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, communicating coverage details clearly to patients.
- 5Collect payments, review treatment plans, and present financial options to patients.
- 6Maintain accurate patient records, updating demographics and medical history in the dental software.
- 7Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations, from patient flow to room readiness.
- 8Create a positive front office environment, organizing the lobby and managing patient flow during peak hours.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of dental front office experience, or 6+ months in medical reception with training available.
- 2Familiarity with Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft is a plus.
- 32+ years of customer service experience in healthcare or hospitality.
- 4Proficiency in communicating insurance benefits and treatment plan costs.
- 5Ability to multitask in a high-volume office, managing phones, walk-ins, and scheduled appointments.
- 6Professional appearance and a positive, team-first attitude.
- 7Reliable transportation to work onsite in Friendswood, TX.
