What You'll Do11
- 1Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products throughout the store
- 2Unload trucks open containers stock shelves and rotate product to ensure freshness
- 3Monitor for mis-picked items product outs and wrong deliveries and report issues
- 4Organize stock for efficiency and clean and restock damaged items
- 5Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers
- 6Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input
- 7Operate the register for customer purchases as needed
- 8Stock supplies including cigarettes front-end sacks and department supplies
- 9Assist with outside maintenance such as shoveling snow spreading ice melt and returning carts
- 10Help with cleaning throughout the store including registers restrooms breakroom and backroom
- 11Train new day stockers on job duties as needed
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Up to six months of similar or related experience preferred
- 3Ability to lift carry push or pull objects weighing 100 pounds or more
- 4Continuously stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods
- 5Where applicable operate pallet jacks forklifts or similar material handling equipment
- 6Where applicable work in cooler or freezer environments for extended periods
- 7Where applicable safely use sharp knives and blades to cut trim or grind product
- 8Where applicable operate a cardboard baler or compactor
- 9Where applicable perform repetitive motions associated with dough mixing scaling and proofing
- 10Ability to unload lift stock and rotate incoming truck freight and merchandise
