You will own the frozen foods department at a Hy-Vee store in Kansas City, Missouri, serving hundreds of customers daily. You will rotate and replenish merchandise, check case temperatures, and keep the department clean and stocked. What You'll Do10
- 1Rotate and replenish merchandise to ensure highest quality standards are met.
- 2Check case temperatures for correctness and consistency, adjusting as needed.
- 3Clean department cases, sweep floors, and maintain a safe environment.
- 4Face merchandise and ensure labels are visible to customers.
- 5Build end cap displays and fill them throughout the week.
- 6Unload trucks, check in product, and put product away.
- 7Assist customers by escorting them to products, loading heavy items, and taking orders.
- 8Answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service.
- 9Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines.
- 10Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements10
- 1Must be 18+ years old.
- 2No education requirement.
- 3Six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.
- 4Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
- 5Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- 6Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another.
- 7Ability to interview to obtain basic information and guide people.
- 8Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
- 9Must be able to perform physical activities including climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- 10Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
