What You'll Do9
- 1Provide prompt efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring concern and patience in all interactions.
- 2Smile greet customers in a friendly manner addressing them by name whenever possible.
- 3Assist customers by escorting them to desired products securing out-of-reach items loading unloading heavy items and noting suggestions.
- 4Accurately select groceries ordered online ensuring highest quality produce meat and fresh items scanning and bagging from all temperature zones.
- 5Answer telephone and emails promptly providing helpful service and placing orders through POS charging credit cards.
- 6Place orders in storage maintaining proper temperature and retrieving promptly before customer arrival.
- 7Cart items to holding area for pickup lift carry and load groceries into vehicles.
- 8Continuously monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt on-time fulfillment.
- 9Perform other job related duties and special projects as required.
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2Commitment to Hy-Vee mission promoting company values.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal abilities.
- 4Ability to identify problems develop solutions and substitute products when unavailable.
- 5Well organized multi-tasking independent worker capable of working in fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
