Data Operations Officer
Overview
State Street Global Delivery Data Operations team seeks a versatile individual leading data and business solutions across Global Delivery. This officer provides data analysis and technical expertise to support services and offerings while collaborating with technology and product partners. The role drives strategic solution design business architecture and program execution ensuring timely delivery of long term data solutions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders in Operations Technology Product and E2E architecture teams to influence cross functional business data solutions and products
- 2Act as liaison between business and technology teams to support product demand opportunities as part of data strategy
- 3Possess strong knowledge of front to back investment management with focus on user data requirements
- 4Work with business and technology partners to provide guidance on CDO initiatives driving data governance activities including policy compliance data quality tracking and resolution
- 5Communicate recommendations to management senior business leaders through effective written and oral communication
- 6Assist with pricing strategies and product policies SOPs data lineage and other governance initiatives
- 7Assist in projects involving upstream downstream data flows and processes to ensure compliance with data governance policy
- 8Create reporting around data governance progress for key stakeholders and management and conduct alignment meetings on strategic data driven initiatives
- 9Demonstrate understanding of Data Operations processes and procedures and ability to learn quickly
- 10Understand data models data taxonomy and deep appreciation of data standards and data quality
- 11Exhibit excellent interpersonal communication facilitation presentation and negotiation skills
Requirements13
- 1Bachelor’s degree in finance MIS Information Technology or related field
- 2Strong technical skills with accounting custody or performance
- 35+ years of experience in data analysis Operations or product management
- 4Proven experience with business requirements analysis to meet critical business needs
- 5Ability to drive tasks through to completion
- 6Experience with design and optimization of user experience across different interfaces
- 7Excellent time management and organization skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- 8Deep understanding of data strategy including data lineage quality governance and analysis
- 9Proven related financial services experience
- 10Good understanding of State Street businesses
- 11Demonstrate understanding of Data Operations processes and procedures
- 12Proficiency with MS Office Products MS Access Visio Jira Confluence PowerPoint Collibra
- 13Education and qualifications as listed
