What You'll Do10
- 1Install, route, terminate, label, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems according to ANSI/TIA standards
- 2Perform rack integration, equipment installation, device mounting, and cable management activities
- 3Support data center deployments, telecommunications room buildouts, and MDF/IDF installations
- 4Stage hardware, label assets, prepare sites, and execute deployment activities to ensure efficient project delivery
- 5Conduct inspections, testing, and certifications to validate installation quality and compliance
- 6Troubleshoot technical and installation issues while maintaining project timelines
- 7Maintain accurate documentation, labeling, and deployment records
- 8Collaborate with project managers, engineers, site leadership, and cross-functional teams throughout project execution
- 9Identify risks, remove barriers, and escalate issues when necessary to ensure successful outcomes
- 10Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and deployment best practices
Requirements5
- 13+ years of experience in data center operations or structured cabling
- 2Valid U.S. driver's license
- 3Knowledge of structured cabling standards and installation best practices
- 4Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements
- 5Strong verbal and written communication skills
