Project Superintendent, Structured Cabling
Overview
You will own structured cabling, low-voltage, and data center infrastructure projects from planning to completion at TEKsystems, a leader in technology services. You will coordinate with field teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-time, in-scope outcomes. Your work supports large-scale cabling, rack infrastructure, and technology deployments, including projects enabling AI and digital connectivity. What You'll Do10
- 1Manage structured cabling, low-voltage, and data center infrastructure projects from initiation to closeout
- 2Partner with Field Supervisors to review project progress, documentation, and deliverables
- 3Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, and resources across project phases
- 4Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards, adjusting as needed
- 5Communicate with customers, field teams, and leadership to ensure project success
- 6Support large-scale cabling, rack infrastructure, and technology deployments
- 7Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track
- 8Review blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to guide execution
- 9Maintain compliance with safety standards including OSHA 30 procedures
- 10Mentor field personnel and foster a positive, safety-first team environment
Requirements9
- 13-5 years managing commercial construction, low-voltage, or data center projects
- 2Hands-on knowledge of structured cabling systems, rack infrastructure, and installation best practices
- 3Proven ability to coordinate field teams and subcontractors
- 4OSHA 30 certification
- 5Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- 6Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 7Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- 9Self-motivated with sound decision-making and independent work capability
