Overview
customs brokerage specialist role focused on ensuring smooth import and export compliance at scale across our global network. You will own data accuracy, filing, and client billing in a fast moving logistics environment. You will work with our customs lead, supervisor, and manager to ensure adherence to regulations and timely processing. This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving in a customer service driven culture.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and maintain accurate data in the customs entry system to support valid declarations
- 2Track and trace customs files and reporting to ensure on time delivery
- 3Own client billing accuracy and timely invoicing for customs services
- 4Interpret Desk Level Operating Procedures to fulfill customer import/export instructions
- 5Assist with verification and submission of customs declarations to authorities
- 6Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance across ocean, road, and air shipments
- 7Collaborate with Customs Brokerage Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager to resolve issues
Requirements6
- 1Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and customs legislation especially classification, valuation and origin
- 2Understanding of ocean road and air documentation process
- 3Strong organizational skills and proactive approach
- 4Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- 5Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
- 6Fluent in English
