What You'll Do8
- 1Ensure compliance with 19 CFR 163 and company guidelines during customs clearance
- 2Classify and declare entries using HTSUS codes including trade remedies and AD/CVD requirements
- 3Communicate with clients CBP and PGAs regarding entry matters
- 4Provide regulatory advice on duty rates trade remedies and exemptions
- 5Coordinate transportation of imported goods from port of entry to destination
- 6Generate reports from customs applications and ACE
- 7Approve invoices for payment and enforce timely client payments
- 8Lead initiatives to improve customs processing efficiency
Requirements6
- 1Current U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) and TSA Security Threat Assessment certification
- 2High school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years progressive import experience
- 3Proven knowledge of U.S. import regulations and HTSUS classification
- 4Experience with freight management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Strong written verbal communication and analytical problem solving abilities
- 6Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities across multiple information systems
Salary Insight
$73 - $100k per year
