The Logistics Coordinator in the Customs Brokerage department leads customer transportation needs while ensuring timely accurate and compliant freight movement. This role connects customers transportation providers government agencies and the Expeditos network to coordinate customs clearance and transportation services supporting uninterrupted supply chains. What You'll Do11

  • 1Receive review prepare and process transportation customs and regulatory documentation including house and master air waybills commercial invoices and customs entry documents
  • 2Prepare and submit customs entries ensuring compliance with import export regulations and company procedures
  • 3Coordinate transportation orders freight bookings and shipment scheduling to ensure timely freight movement
  • 4Monitor shipment status and customs clearances proactively communicating updates and resolving issues with customers and service providers
  • 5Accurately enter update and maintain shipment and customs information in company operating systems
  • 6Dispatch freight promptly to prevent supply chain disruptions
  • 7Communicate effectively with customers vendors airlines trucking companies customs authorities and the global Expeditos network via email phone instant messaging and in person
  • 8Review operational reports to understand performance identify improvement opportunities and support department objectives
  • 9Execute customer invoicing accurately following SOPs rate agreements tariffs and company procedures
  • 10Build and maintain strong relationships with customers transportation providers and business partners
  • 11Ensure compliance with internal policies government regulations and customs requirements meeting KPIs

Requirements8

  • 1Knowledge of customs brokerage international transportation freight forwarding or global logistics operations
  • 2Understanding of import and export documentation and regulatory compliance
  • 3Strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • 4Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency
  • 5Ability to work in fast paced deadline driven environment
  • 6Fluent in English
  • 7Minimum 5+ years experience
  • 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Word
