Overview

Lead management of international export orders from receipt to final delivery while coordinating with freight forwarders carriers customs brokers and internal departments. Drive efficient processes and ensure compliance with regulations and customer expectations.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Manage international export orders from order entry through final delivery
  • 2Coordinate ocean and air shipments with freight forwarders carriers customs brokers warehouses factories and overseas partners
  • 3Act as primary point of contact for domestic and international customers providing shipment updates and resolving issues
  • 4Prepare and process export documentation including commercial invoices packing lists bills of lading certificates of origin export declarations and related shipping documents
  • 5Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations customer requirements and Incoterms
  • 6Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays documentation discrepancies and operational issues
  • 7Prepare customer invoices and verify freight charges billing accuracy duties tariffs and service fees
  • 8Review carrier invoices and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
  • 9Support finance by assisting with invoicing payment processing reconciliations and international payment documentation such as letters of credit and documentary collections
  • 10Maintain accurate records within ERP transportation management and order management systems
  • 11Generate shipment and operational reports while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

Requirements10

  • 12 years experience in international logistics or ocean or air export
  • 2Minimum experience as a freight forwarder NVOCC importer/exporter
  • 3Strong knowledge of export documentation Incoterms and international shipping procedures
  • 4Proficiency in export compliance freight billing and invoicing
  • 5Experience coordinating shipments with carriers customs brokers freight forwarders and overseas agents
  • 6Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
  • 7Ability to manage multiple shipments meet deadlines and customer accounts simultaneously
  • 8Preferred experience using ERP TMS or export management software
  • 9Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
  • 10Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required
