Customer Site Inventory Specialist, Inventory Management & Onsite Support
Overview
Inventory management at a customer site in Austin, TX where you own daily operations of an advanced inventory system and respond to urgent customer needs. You will monitor station performance, track parts, and ensure accurate records across departments. This role supports engineers and procurement teams and requires hands-on, independent problem solving. You will join a collaborative team with a strong emphasis on growth and learning.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain daily operations of the inventory management system across multiple departments
- 2Track, receive, and install parts inside inventory stations and monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment
- 3Perform daily checks, troubleshoot operational issues, and respond to customer requests and emergencies promptly
- 4Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of parts
- 5Maintain accurate records of inventory usage, machine performance, and station activity
- 6Generate reports on inventory station usage and levels to drive improvements
- 7Ensure inventory stations meet safety and operational standards
- 8Provide timely communication in English, with Spanish as a plus
- 9Support on-call availability outside core hours as needed
- 10Support training for new team members on inventory software and hardware
Requirements10
- 11-3 years of experience in inventory management, production, or technical support
- 2Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn inventory management systems
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and basic computer systems
- 4Willingness to learn and be trained in inventory management systems
- 5Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
- 6Ability to work independently and handle urgent situations
- 7Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 8Familiarity with using technical equipment and inventory software
- 9Effective written and conversational skills in English; Spanish is a plus
- 10Able to respond to emergencies and available during core business hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST and on-call as needed
