Customer Service Representative, Retail & Cashiering
Overview
You will own the customer experience at a busy Circle K store, handling cashiering, food service, and store upkeep. You will work evenings and weekends alongside a small team, serving hundreds of customers daily. What You'll Do9
- 1Greet every customer with a smile and run the POS register accurately, handling cash and card payments.
- 2Drive sales by suggesting purchases and promoting current deals, aiming for at least one add-on per transaction.
- 3Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves, cleaning aisles, and managing the food program (e.g., hot dogs, roller grill).
- 4Operate the coffee station and other self-serve equipment, ensuring freshness and cleanliness.
- 5Complete opening or closing duties including counting the till, reconciling receipts, and locking up.
- 6Assist with inventory by checking expiration dates, rotating stock, and reporting low items.
- 7Respond to customer questions and complaints with patience, resolving issues on the spot.
- 8Follow safety protocols for lifting (up to 60 lbs) and using ladders to access stock.
- 9Work weekends and evenings as scheduled, showing up on time and ready to serve.
Requirements7
- 16 months of retail or customer service experience, including cashiering or sales associate duties.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per shift.
- 4Ability to lift up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead and occasionally 60 pounds to waist level.
- 5Comfort with POS systems and basic math for cash handling.
- 6Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- 7Motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced team environment.
