Circle K Customer Service Representative
Overview
The position focuses on delivering prompt excellent customer service while operating multiple systems such as fuel consoles and lottery machines. What You'll Do18
- 1Provide prompt excellent customer service in a courteous friendly and attentive manner
- 2Ring up all sales on cash register properly and accurately handling money checks and other payments
- 3Perform multi-function operation of fuel console lottery machines money order machine and telecom transactions
- 4Report to work on time and follow dress and appearance code
- 5Maintain store facility condition and equipment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties
- 6Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety cleanliness and proper working order
- 7Complete build-to's for ordering/purchasing merchandise receive and verify vendor deliveries
- 8Maintain adequate stock throughout the store and rotate stock properly
- 9Place advertising and pricing signage inside or outside the facility
- 10Control merchandise cash shortages and other selling expenses
- 11Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits
- 12Keep accurate cash sales and inventory control records and account for variances
- 13Notify Store Manager of any sales cash or inventory discrepancies
- 14Follow Company and/or brand guidelines for product breakage or spoilage
- 15Report all incidents including employee or customer injuries theft property damage or improper sanitation to the Store Manager
- 16Attend job-related meetings and maintain accurate shift and timekeeping paperwork
- 17May take inventory of supplies and equipment
- 18Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2Experience in retail sales preferred
- 3Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment including cash registers scanners hot or cold beverage dispensers and other machines
- 4Ability to work as scheduled arriving to work on time
- 5Strong communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly
- 6Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform essential functions
- 7Exposure to cold or warm temperature extremes and occasional work in walk-in coolers freezers or outdoors
