Collaborate with manufacturers and industrial clients to understand requirements and provide accurate, timely solutions. This role combines customer service with technical guidance and sales activities in a fully onsite environment.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and process orders and quotes for a wide range of products and services received via email and phone inquiries.
  • 2Respond to delivery inquiries by checking stock, back orders, vendor schedules, and shipping dates to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • 3Assist customers using worksheets and part number files to identify parts, gather costs, and confirm stock availability
  • 4Expedite order inquiries by tracking status, following up on back orders, and resolving issues promptly
  • 5Investigate defects damages and incorrect shipments coordinating corrective actions and communicating outcomes to customers
  • 6Follow up on in house repairs and provide timely updates to customers
  • 7Assist walk in customers by identifying needs providing technical support and processing orders efficiently
  • 8Monitor returns investigate causes approve reshipments or credits and document outcomes
  • 9Develop and qualify opportunities to open new business accounts and expand existing ones
  • 10Utilize sales techniques to add on and upsell related products while maintaining professional service

Requirements10

  • 1Experience supporting original equipment manufacturers industrial companies heavy equipment customers or similar customer bases
  • 2Experience in automation products including actuators air valves compressors and related mechanical components
  • 3Prior experience in customer service roles involving order processing returns and technical support
  • 4Familiarity with working from inventory lists part number files and other technical documentation to identify and source parts
  • 5Exposure to fluid power systems and components with an interest in expanding product knowledge through ongoing training
  • 6Willingness to attend product training seminars to stay current on new products and technologies
  • 7Ability to utilize organizational systems or CRM tools to maintain detailed customer histories and interaction records
  • 8Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to establish professional relationships
  • 9Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
  • 10Basic computer skills including MS Office and a high level of personal integrity
