Customer Service Representative - DME Company

Join the DME Source team and play a critical role in providing essential durable medical equipment to our patients. This position requires an organized and detail-oriented professional to manage the full cycle of customer service and order processing. What You'll Do6
- 1Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers, answering incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, and greeting walk-in customers
- 2Process all customer orders accurately and efficiently, including new customer computer file creation and extensive data entry
- 3Manage comprehensive patient documentation, including patient information forms, service instructions, and prescription forms for specialized equipment like CPAP
- 4Qualify customer transactions for third-party billing by verifying insurance coverage, checking deductibles, and securing necessary authorizations
- 5Proactively contact patients for scheduled supply refill orders and manage follow-up on outstanding medical documentation
- 6Handle customer inquiries regarding equipment availability, coverage guidelines, and initial billing questions
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons managing complex customer service operations
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4Proven data entry, typing, and 10-key skills
- 5Exceptional phone and customer relations skills
- 6Strong detail orientation and proven problem-solving abilities
- 7Prior experience in healthcare, DME, or insurance verification is preferred
