What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers warmly and assist with food or retail purchases, turning first-time visitors into regulars.
- 2Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately, reducing checkout wait times.
- 3Manage food orders in a fast-paced setting, ensuring timely preparation and delivery within the first 90 days.
- 4Handle cash register operations, process cash and credit payments, and give correct change every time.
- 5Upsell menu items and retail products, lifting average transaction value by 10% or more.
- 6Keep counters, food prep areas, and register stations spotless, following sanitation protocols.
- 7Use kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food prep or service, avoiding accidents.
- 8Maintain food safety standards by following proper handling and storage procedures.
- 9Restock supplies and check product freshness, supporting smooth inventory turnover.
- 10Resolve customer questions and issues on the spot, ensuring satisfaction and repeat visits.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in quick service, fast food, or retail sales, with a preference for bodega or grocery backgrounds.
- 2Hands-on experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- 3Ability to prep and handle food safely, with kitchen operations knowledge a plus.
- 4Strong time management to juggle multiple orders during peak hours without delays.
- 5Accurate basic math for cash handling and change, with zero discrepancies.
- 6Friendly, energetic customer service style that keeps the line moving and smiles flowing.
- 7Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and keeping workspaces sanitation-compliant.
- 8Food safety certification or proven experience with HACCP protocols is advantageous.
