Customer Service Associate, Retail & Store Operations
Overview
Customer Service Associate owns the front-line shopping experience at a busy Dollar Tree store in Tampa, Florida. You handle transactions, keep shelves stocked, and ensure the store stays clean and safe. What You'll Do8
- 1Help customers with questions and product recommendations during each shift.
- 2Process sales at the cash register and maintain accurate cash handling.
- 3Protect company assets by following security procedures and monitoring the front end.
- 4Stock shelves and recover merchandise to keep the store fully shoppable.
- 5Unload delivery trucks and move stock to the sales floor using a pallet jack.
- 6Clean store areas including restrooms, floors, and trash removal to meet Dollar Tree standards.
- 7Follow productivity standards to complete stocking and recovery tasks within time targets.
- 8Assist with other duties as assigned to keep the store running smoothly.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 21+ year customer service experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant settings is highly preferred.
- 3Ability to read and interpret operational documents and follow instructions.
- 4Lift 30–50 lbs regularly and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- 5Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- 6Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with customers and team members.
