What You'll Do16
- 1Act in a manner that reflects the standards of the School Board and community
- 2Be knowledgeable; good will ambassador for the school corporation
- 3Comply with Board policy and the directives of supervisors
- 4Report unsafe conditions and property damage to the principal
- 5Sweep mop scrub and vacuum hallways staircases classrooms and offices
- 6Move furniture or equipment within buildings as required
- 7Follow local laws and procedures for trash storage and disposal
- 8Clean and sanitize classroom desks whiteboards windows ledges shelves and replace broken items
- 9Maintain bathroom facilities including floors urinals sinks mirrors and graffiti removal
- 10Wash lockers sweep mop and clean cobwebs from lockers and ceiling tiles
- 11Vacuum daily dust areas clean pencil pens markers and maintain carpeted spaces
- 12Keep gym floors clean sweep bleachers and sanitize locker rooms and athletic director offices
- 13Assist in cafeteria cleanup after meals and maintain kitchen areas
- 14Scrub halls open auditoriums light booths and backstage areas
- 15Ensure mop heads and vacuum cleaners are regularly maintained
- 16Keep all glass clean and maintain equipment efficiency
Requirements10
- 15+ years building maintenance experience
- 2Spark and Airflow proficiency
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4AWS Certified cloud computing knowledge optional
- 5BCBA credential beneficial
- 6High school diploma or GED required
- 7Minimum age 18 years
- 8Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders
- 9Strong communication skills for interacting with staff students and community members
- 10Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
