Culinary Server, Senior Living & Food Service

Own dining service operations in a Buckner retirement community with resident-focused hospitality at scale. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and deliver meals and beverages in dining rooms and other areas
- 2Set tables, bus tables, wash tables after meals, and wrap silverware
- 3Prepare hot and cold foods and operate steam tables and blenders
- 4Serve food and beverages to residents and sanitize carts and equipment
- 5Wash dishes, sort and store clean dishes, and maintain a clean work area
- 6Mop, sweep, and take out trash to maintain safety and sanitation
- 7Assist with basic food preparation and food safety practices
- 8Assist with moving food serving and preparation equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
- 9Follow step-by-step instructions for daily tasks and safety protocols
Requirements9
- 1Requires ability to read, write, and understand English business documents
- 2Requires clear verbal communication with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- 3Must be able to follow basic written and oral instructions
- 4Ability to move equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- 5Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks for over 75% of shift
- 6Ability to safely utilize kitchen equipment and recognize potential safety concerns
- 7Location: Dallas, TX onsite on a split shift schedule
- 8Must be able to pass a background check and comply with company policies
- 9Previous food service or dining room experience preferred
