Overview
We seek an experienced CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services at Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center. This variable part-time rotating shift role focuses on patient care and operational efficiency while contributing to a faith-based healthcare mission.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform CT examinations following radiologist protocols
- 2Operate CT-scanners and ancillary equipment proficiently
- 3Assist radiologists and staff with interventional procedures
- 4Identify IV contrast contraindications and recognize reaction symptoms
- 5Select appropriate scanning protocols to maximize diagnostic quality
- 6Document patient information in HIS RIS PACS Telelradiography systems
- 7Maximize patient throughput through effective teamwork
- 8Transport patients between departments as needed
- 9Provide basic patient care within the CT environment
- 10Train new hires and educate students in CT operations
- 11Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety standards
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2AMA/JRCERT radiography accreditation
- 31 year CT experience preferred
- 4Maryland Radiation Technologist license ARRT certified
- 5Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- 6State of Maryland residency
- 7Valid CT certification
- 8Rotating weekend schedule availability
