CT Technologist Weekend Days
Overview
AdventHealth seeks a skilled CT Technologist to lead weekend imaging services at our Tampa location. You will deliver high-quality CT examinations while upholding strict infection control protocols and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. What You'll Do11
- 1Perform CT scans adhering to provider orders and ALARA principles
- 2Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems
- 3Educate patients about procedures and expedite workflow
- 4Operate advanced imaging equipment including scanners and injectors
- 5Administer IV contrast materials safely while monitoring patient responses
- 6Position patients using immobilization devices with radiation safety focus
- 7Collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic imaging continuity
- 8Review patient histories to determine exam appropriateness
- 9Analyze imaging data to support accurate diagnoses
- 10Document findings and communicate results promptly
- 11Support team initiatives promoting whole person well-being
Requirements11
- 1Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) ARRT) [Required]
- 2American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Preferred]
- 3Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- 4Proficiency with CT scanners and PACS systems
- 5Strong communication skills across diverse patient populations
- 6Basic computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency
- 7Certification in Basic Life Support CPR [Required]
- 8Valid driver's license for weekend shift flexibility
- 9Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
- 10Commitment to patient-centered care philosophy
- 11Understanding of healthcare ethics and confidentiality standards
