Overview

The Crew Liaison at ATLAS Hope leads a full time team in New York City to support adult men in overcoming trauma and violence. This role involves transporting participants, coaching them through CBT, and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver wrap around services. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, and skilled in trauma informed practices.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Facilitate supervised work experiences for a crew of 5-10 transitional workers
  • 2Develop individualized goals and monitor progress toward skill enhancement
  • 3Maintain open communication with Crew Manager regarding daily activities
  • 4Ensure safety protocols are followed at all worksites and during transportation
  • 5Model positive workplace behavior and provide constructive feedback
  • 6Transport participants to job sites using company vehicles
  • 7Represent ATLAS Hope to community members and employers
  • 8Complete Daily Feedback tool accurately and provide timely constructive input
  • 9Utilize trauma informed practices and build collegial relationships
  • 10Participate in professional development and ongoing training
  • 11Travel throughout New York City to support program logistics

Requirements11

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 22 years experience supporting transitional employment
  • 3New York State Driver's License
  • 4Bilingual English Spanish
  • 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • 6Flexible schedule availability
  • 7Experience working with diverse populations in South Bronx
  • 8Travel capability throughout NYC
  • 9Understanding of men of color challenges related to gang involvement
  • 10Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • 11Strong communication and collaboration skills
