Community Partnerships Supervisor, Workforce Development in NYC
Overview
You will lead a team of coordinators building community partnerships that connect participants to education, training, internships, and support services across NYC. You'll own partnership strategy, team performance, and program outcomes in collaboration with the PACE leadership team. Your work directly expands opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment, including public assistance recipients, homeless individuals, and justice-involved New Yorkers. This role blends people leadership with community engagement and workforce development, offering a chance to shape meaningful partnerships and drive measurable impact.
What You'll Do10
- 1Supervise and mentor a team of coordinators, setting clear goals and performance standards.
- 2Coach staff through regular one-on-ones and professional development plans.
- 3Build and strengthen relationships with educational institutions, training providers, and community organizations.
- 4Develop Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and manage partnership agreements.
- 5Identify emerging labor market trends and align training opportunities with participant goals.
- 6Conduct case conferences to address engagement and barrier-removal strategies.
- 7Monitor program performance and retention outcomes, using data to drive improvements.
- 8Ensure timely documentation in SEAMS and Fedcap CARES, maintaining NYC HRA compliance.
- 9Address participant concerns and service issues promptly, escalating when needed.
- 10Collaborate with internal teams to close service gaps and boost participant progression.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Workforce Development, Education, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 22+ years of supervisory or management experience in workforce development, case management, or human services.
- 3Experience supporting public assistance recipients, individuals experiencing homelessness, justice-involved individuals, or individuals with disabilities.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- 5Experience with workforce development databases and case management systems.
- 6Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- 7Exceptional relationship management and partnership development skills.
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 9Strong organizational and project management skills.
- 10Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
