What You'll Do9

  • 1Own end-to-end review of condominium and cooperative housing projects for eligibility under investor and regulatory guidelines
  • 2Conduct detailed analysis of HOA financial statements board documents insurance policies litigation reports and safety information
  • 3Evaluate projects against agency investor and portfolio requirements using frameworks like Fannie Mae Freddie Mac FHA VA and portfolio lending programs
  • 4Issue project approval decisions while maintaining accurate records in internal systems
  • 5Communicate findings and requirements to underwriting sales operations and risk stakeholders through clear written and verbal updates
  • 6Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines
  • 7Research and interpret complex lending guidelines to identify eligible investments and mitigate risks
  • 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project outcomes with organizational lending objectives
  • 9Apply underwriting standards to assess property investment viability and document rationale for all decisions

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 21 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • 3Proficiency in mortgage lending underwriting secondary market guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • 4Strong analytical and research skills to interpret lending criteria and documentation
  • 5Excellent attention to detail with experience reviewing financial legal and property-related materials
  • 6Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and speaking
  • 7Experience with mortgage loan processes and documentation review
  • 8Familiarity with Fannie Mae Freddie Mac FHA VA and portfolio lending programs
