What You'll Do8
- 1Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, surgeries, and patient care using digital radiography.
- 2Collect and process diagnostic samples, administer medications, and prep surgical suites.
- 3Record patient histories and manage pharmaceutical inventories with cloud-based software.
- 4Take and interpret radiographs including dental X-rays, and perform ultrasonic dental cleanings.
- 5Monitor anesthesia, dress wounds, and support catheterization and ear flushes.
- 6Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas to AHA standards.
- 7Educate clients on preventive care, dental hygiene, and nutrition.
- 8Collaborate with team to onboard new hires and promote services like grooming and daycare.
Requirements7
- 1Licensure as a Veterinary Technician in Pennsylvania.
- 21-2 years clinical experience preferred.
- 3Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
- 4Ability to lift 20+ lbs in a demanding clinical setting.
- 5Interest in using veterinary technology for patient care.
- 6Preferred Fear Free and HABRI certification or willingness to achieve.
- 7Adaptable and enthusiastic for team-based care.
