What You'll Do8

  • 1Place IV catheters and manage anesthesia monitoring for surgical and dental procedures
  • 2Perform dental cleanings and digital dental radiographs with modern equipment
  • 3Run in-house laboratory testing including blood work, urinalysis, and cytology
  • 4Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
  • 5Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
  • 6Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and fluids as directed
  • 7Monitor and recover patients post-operatively, ensuring stability
  • 8Educate clients on home care, medication instructions, and preventive health

Requirements6

  • 1Veterinary Technician experience required
  • 2Licensure preferred but not required
