Overview
Level One Personnel seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver therapeutic services under a licensed Occupational Therapist. This part‑time role offers flexible hours Monday Friday with a 20 hour weekly commitment. The position provides competitive pay and additional benefits.
What You'll Do10
- 1Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- 2Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills mobility strength coordination and functional performance
- 3Observe and report resident progress concerns and changes in condition
- 4Document treatments and resident responses accurately and timely
- 5Assist with evaluations screenings and data collection as directed
- 6Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and safety techniques
- 7Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- 8Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve resident goals
- 9Participate in care planning and quality improvement activities
- 10Comply with facility policies and all applicable regulations
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with current state licensure or certification
- 2Long term care or rehabilitation experience preferred
- 3Ability to stand walk bend reach lift transfer and assist residents throughout the workday
- 4Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position
- 5Experience with documentation software and electronic health records
