Process PIA FOIA subpoena requests manage controlled correspondence maintain listservs support external communications and assist Maryland Hospital Patient Safety Program with adverse event intake root cause analysis review. What You'll Do5
- 1Design and schedule public meetings ensure compliance with Maryland Open Meetings Act prepare agendas and materials record minutes track follow up items and provide administrative support
- 2Process Public Information Act Freedom of Information Act and subpoena requests manage controlled correspondence maintain accurate records track deadlines and respond to inquiries
- 3Maintain OHCQ listservs support agency-wide external communications and internal stakeholder communications including provider notices stakeholder updates meeting announcements distribution lists internal messaging and consistency transparency initiatives
- 4Support Maryland Hospital Patient Safety Program intake and classify adverse events review root cause analyses communicate with hospitals regarding reporting expectations perform administrative duties
- 5Coordinate with internal programs and external partners to enhance information sharing
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent experience three years professional assistance in health program coordination or referral to governmental private resources
- 2Ability to manage public meetings and correspondence ensuring compliance with federal and state laws such as Maryland Open Meetings Act PIA and FOIA
- 3Experience organizing cleaning and analyzing qualitative quantitative data for strategic decisions
- 4Healthcare industry exposure including hospitals nursing homes or assisted living programs
- 5Proficiency with Google Workspace Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat Smartsheet and CMS software like iQIES
