What You'll Do8

  • 1Own the daily accounting function across payables, receivables, payroll, and general ledger to ensure accurate processing.
  • 2Run month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • 3Build monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts that give leadership actionable insight.
  • 4Enforce compliance with accounting standards, lender covenants, and internal controls.
  • 5Partner with executives to interpret financial results and identify trends that guide strategy.
  • 6Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals on annual audits and statutory filings.
  • 7Manage cash, including bank reconciliations and factoring-related reporting.
  • 8Improve close speed and accuracy using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling.

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 25+ years in a controller or senior financial management role.
  • 3Strong command of month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • 4Experience with audits, audited financial statements, and internal controls.
  • 5Ability to analyze data, consolidate reports, and present to leadership.
  • 6Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • 7Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with accuracy and detail.
