Construction Worker, Weatherization & Energy Upgrades

Experience All Around General Construction Worker focusing on weatherization and energy efficiency in Dallas County. Join our team on site with flexible part-time and growing full-time opportunities as project demand expands. You’ll work across multiple homes delivering upgrades and improvements under safety standards and with minimal supervision. This role emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, and quality craftsmanship. You will play a key part in energy-saving initiatives for residential properties.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build weatherization upgrades across multiple homes in the Dallas Metroplex
- 2Install attic insulation and perform air sealing using caulk and spray foam
- 3Repair drywall after weatherization work to match existing finishes
- 4Install or replace bathroom exhaust fans and ensure proper venting
- 5Follow quality and safety standards on every job
- 6Collaborate with a team to complete projects on schedule
- 7Operate power tools safely and navigate confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces
- 8Maintain reliable transportation and report to job sites on time
- 9Document work performed and communicate progress to supervisors
- 10Assist with inspections and comply with project specifications
Requirements10
- 1Experience installing and replacing bathroom exhaust fans
- 2Drywall repair and patching experience
- 3Interior air sealing and caulking with spray foam application
- 4Attic insulation installation experience (blown and/or batt) preferred
- 5Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
- 6Ability to safely use power tools and ladders
- 7HVAC experience is preferred
- 8Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 9Available for Part time or Full time with growing hours in Dallas County
- 10Onsite weatherization and energy-efficiency upgrade experience
Salary Insight
$17 - $32k per year
