Construction Assistance Project Manager
Overview
Lead project management for specialty construction services across Mid-Atlantic region. Oversee bids, scheduling, and field operations for Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates.
What You'll Do11
- 1Review General Contractor Bid Boards and lead platforms to develop prospective leads
- 2Perform takeoffs to determine materials labor and equipment requirements
- 3Prepare and submit bids and proposals including project experience staff resumes equipment lists and work plans
- 4Attend pre-bid meetings and follow up with low bidders to negotiate work
- 5Schedule and dispatch crews provide daily assignments enter and approve field personnel time
- 6Prepare project submittals such as experience staff resumes equipment lists and work plans
- 7Call on vendors order materials and manage purchase orders
- 8Set up subcontract or rental agreements participate in pre-construction progress meetings ensure safety compliance and monitor budgets
- 9Review and approve vendor invoices conduct field visits to check crew progress and safety inspections
- 10Review daily paperwork and project folders ensure timely payments
- 11Assist Branch Manager and Project Managers with administrative duties
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in construction management civil engineering or geology preferred
- 21-2 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or Construction Project Management
- 3Experience managing projects between $50,000 and $1,500,000
- 4Ability to estimate materials quantities labor and equipment requirements
- 5Experience with geotechnical drilling sheeting/shoring pressure grouting or deep foundations
- 6Business development experience preferred
- 7Strong communication skills for client interaction
Salary Insight
$60 - $85k per year
