You will own form setting and concrete placement for high-end custom homes and commercial projects across the Phoenix Metro Area, working with a safety-focused contractor on structural concrete, rebar placement, and finishing. You will join a growing team of experienced setters and finishers on large custom residential builds, with steady work and paid drive time for qualifying projects. This role offers $28–$37/hr based on experience and the opportunity to lead or step into foreman roles as the team expands. What You'll Do8
- 1Set and install forms for walls, columns, foundations, and structural concrete using power tools and hand tools.
- 2Tie rebar per specs and layout, ensuring proper spacing and coverage for pours.
- 3Assist with concrete pours and placement, managing flow and consolidation.
- 4Finish concrete using bull floats, power screeds, and hand tools to achieve specified surface quality.
- 5Read measurements and blueprints to lay out forms accurately on site.
- 6Operate hand and power tools safely, following job site safety protocols.
- 7Maintain a clean and organized job site, disposing of debris and securing materials.
- 8Travel to job sites throughout the Valley, arriving on time with required tools and gear.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of concrete form setting experience in structural concrete.
- 2Proven work with walls, columns, foundations, and structural pours.
- 3Hands-on rebar placement and tying experience.
- 4Concrete finishing skills using bull floats and power screeds.
- 5Ability to read a tape measure and work from dimensions accurately.
- 6Physical stamina for outdoor work, including lifting heavy materials.
- 7Reliable transportation to job sites across Phoenix Metro.
