Compliance Engineer - Topcon Positioning Systems
Overview
We seek a detail-oriented Compliance Engineer to ensure systems processes and products meet regulatory requirements industry standards and internal policies. The role involves collaborating with notified bodies engineering security legal and operations teams to design implement and maintain product compliance while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do12
- 1Design implement and maintain compliance controls aligned with regulatory standards and frameworks
- 2Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements into system architecture development and deployment processes
- 3Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential regulatory or security risks
- 4Manage certification processes including issuing renewing and tracking certificates and declarations of conformity
- 5Work with third-party suppliers external partners and certification bodies to ensure adherence to relevant standards
- 6Maintain detailed technical documentation including technical files risk assessments and Declarations of Conformity
- 7Monitor systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
- 8Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation evidence and reports
- 9Implement automated compliance monitoring and reporting with security and DevOps teams
- 10Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- 11Provide guidance and training to engineering and operations teams on compliance-related topics
- 12Investigate compliance incidents and recommend remediation actions
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading compliance initiatives
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Information Systems Engineering or related field
- 4Familiarity with compliance standards such as CE RED FCC ANATEL
- 5Proven experience in cybersecurity standards regulations and compliance processes
- 6Strong technical background in hardware and/or software engineering with secure design principles
- 7Experience managing cybersecurity or safety certification projects for hardware and software products
- 8Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for product safety cybersecurity and data protection
- 9Understanding of technical documentation including risk assessments technical files and Declarations of Conformity
- 10Proactive mindset with ability to stay updated on industry standards regulations and emerging threats
- 11Preferred qualifications experience with global certification processes familiarity with EMC radio and safety critical certifications knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and governance frameworks
Salary Insight
$102 - $116k per year
