Commissioning Project Specialist, Data Center (CxAlloy)
Overview
You will own commissioning coordination and CxAlloy administration for hyperscale data center projects, ensuring testing, documentation, and closeout stay on schedule. Reporting to Commissioning Managers, you will work with construction, engineering, vendor, and owner teams to track deliverables and resolve gaps. This role combines hands-on commissioning support with system administration. You will shape standardized workflows and contribute to process improvements, making it ideal for someone who thrives on structure and precision.
What You'll Do10
- 1Coordinate commissioning activities from kickoff to final turnover, tracking PFCs, FPTs, and IST in CxAlloy.
- 2Serve as primary CxAlloy administrator: configure projects, upload records, manage checklists, issues, and testing status.
- 3Generate status reports and dashboards in CxAlloy for project leadership and stakeholders.
- 4Coordinate and review commissioning documentation from agents, contractors, and engineers; flag missing or inconsistent records.
- 5Manage document control in Procore, including submittals, RFIs, drawings, and correspondence.
- 6Attend project meetings, document action items, and track follow-ups with cross-functional teams.
- 7Track deficiencies and outstanding deliverables, verifying completion before closeout.
- 8Support development of commissioning turnover packages and final acceptance documentation.
- 9Assist in building CxAlloy templates and workflows to standardize processes across projects.
- 10Train project teams on CxAlloy usage and troubleshoot system issues.
Requirements10
- 13+ years supporting commissioning on data center, mission-critical, or large commercial projects.
- 2Hands-on CxAlloy experience with project setup, document management, checklists, issue tracking, and reporting.
- 3Working knowledge of Procore for document management, submittals, RFIs, and drawings.
- 4Clear understanding of commissioning phases and required documentation for each milestone.
- 5Experience coordinating with commissioning agents, general contractors, engineers, and owner reps.
- 6Track record of managing multiple project deadlines while maintaining detail accuracy.
- 7Ability to identify gaps in documentation and drive resolution.
- 8Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and correspondence.
- 9Willingness to travel up to 15% to project sites and company gatherings.
- 10Preference for experience with mechanical, electrical, or controls systems commissioning and IST.
