Overview

Commissioning Engineer will own field and engineering support for the sales team across job sites in a defined territory, based in Dallas, TX. This role combines field work and office tasks with extensive formal training under a mentor, building expertise in CaptiveAire products, troubleshooting, and application engineering processes. You will travel to site locations, engage with regional sales and service teams, and help ensure successful startups and installations. This role offers hands on experience in a fast moving, problem solving environment where continuous learning is encouraged.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build remote troubleshooting capabilities using building management systems to drive issue resolution
  • 2Design and implement field startups and construction coordination to ensure successful project handoffs CASLink remote monitoring involved
  • 3Drive data analysis to identify product improvements and verification through CASLink data
  • 4Own technical product support for existing and newly installed equipment, delivering immediate field solutions
  • 5Ship field and remote support interactions with engineering, service, and local sales teams to optimize installed jobs
  • 6Scale regional support activities by coordinating with customers and teams to resolve complex equipment issues
  • 7Lead on site construction trade coordination meetings to align stakeholders and outcomes
  • 8Drive proactive maintenance insights from collected data and feedback to guide product enhancements
  • 9Develop reports for Regional Manager and teams detailing customer feedback, challenges, and recommended improvements

Requirements6

  • 10-5 yrs experience in commissioning, field engineering, or related role
  • 24 year technical degree in mechanical electrical construction or science oriented field
  • 3Building Management/Building Automation Systems experience preferred
  • 4HVAC and/or electrical experience strongly preferred
  • 5Must be a proactive self starter with strong multitasking and communication skills
  • 6Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not offered
