CNC Machinist Programmer Fusion 360 Detroit
Overview
You will own CNC programming and machining for custom machines at a global leader in Sterling Heights, MI. You will set up, operate, and program Fusion 360 mills and lathes, working with Mastercam or ProCAM in a team that builds special machines. This role offers $28-$30/hour plus overtime and full benefits, with training available for experienced machinists. What You'll Do8
- 1Program Fusion 360 CNC mills and lathes for custom machine components in your first 90 days.
- 2Set up and operate CNC equipment, using Mastercam or ProCAM as needed.
- 3Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T to produce parts within tolerance.
- 4Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding for machining operations.
- 5Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes to reduce cycle times.
- 6Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and CMM.
- 7Collaborate with engineers and machinists on design for manufacturability.
- 8Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of CNC machining (mill or lathe) including programming, setup, and operations.
- 2Experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam, or ProCAM.
- 3Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- 4Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds.
- 5Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
- 6Willingness to continue training and learning new software.
- 7Pass pre-hire background check and drug screen.
Salary Insight
$58 - $62k per year
