CNC Machinist Job - Columbus, OH | KYRON TOOL
Overview
You will own the full machining cycle: programming, setup, editing, and running parts to customer prints or CAD files on our 4-axis horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers, a boring mill, and 4-axis and 5-axis lathes. You'll work in a 30,000+ square foot family-owned facility in Columbus, Ohio, with a team that values precision and on-time delivery. What You'll Do7
- 1Program, set up, edit, and machine parts complete to customer prints or CAD files on 4-axis horizontal machining centers and vertical machining centers.
- 2Operate the boring mill and 4-axis and 5-axis lathes to produce high-quality precision components.
- 3Read and interpret advanced prints and prescribed specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- 4Respond to and diagnose machine maintenance needs, then repair issues to minimize downtime.
- 5Promote teamwork and communication with team members and other departments to meet production goals.
- 6Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to blueprints.
- 7Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.
Requirements7
- 13+ years of machining experience preferred.
- 2Ability to program, set up, edit, and machine parts to customer prints or CAD files.
- 3Advanced ability to read and understand prints and prescribed specifications.
- 4Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining is a plus.
- 5Ability to respond to and diagnose machine maintenance needs.
